Teachers: AVID is succeeding

Teachers and students with Ennis ISD’s AVID program spoke Tuesday night at the EISD school board meeting about how the program has helped scores of students improve their academic standing and go to college.

AVID teachers Brian Fry, Jaime Regas and Kristin Middlebrooks presented data showing the benefits o of the program for students’ grades and test scores.
