‘Treats’ gets its own special treat

Treats for Troops, the community group project that sends food, necessities and well-wishes to U.S. troops overseas, got a big “thank you” from servicemen recently.
The group received an American flag flown in Afghanistan “in the face of the enemy” said project organizer Harriett Adams. The flag came with an authenticity certificate and a note in care of First Christian Church thanking the group for its support.
