With an early arrival for Easter this year, First Christian Church’s Treats for Troops program is already looking for support for its overseas shipment.
Harriett Adams, the program’s leader, said care boxes for troops in Afghanistan are set for shipment March 12-15, and monetary donations are greatly needed. It costs $14.95 to ship a box overseas to a service member now, up from $12.95.
