Triple-digit temps settle in for now

Temperatures are expected to top out back above 100 degrees daily through the weekend before a possible thunderstorm could dowse the area at the beginning of next week.
The city saw its first 100-degree days of 2011 on Monday and Tuesday, with highs receding only slightly underneath the triple-digit marker Wednesday.
