Truck flips in curious collision

EDN photo by Phil Banker / Ennis police Officer Kevin Tuley said cell phone distraction was a major factor in a low speed collision on Monday afternoon that left one truck flipped upside down on Lake Bardwell Drive near Ennis High School. Tuley said both vehicles were turning onto Lake Bardwell Drive from Ensign Road when one driver looked down at his cell phone, causing the collision. No one was injured in the crash. Tuley was at a loss to explain how such a low-speed collision caused the truck to flip.
