Trustees explain ‘no’ votes

While a clear majority of the Ennis ISD Board of Trustees voted in support of installing James Sanders as interim superintendent, two of the board’s long serving members voted against the move for different reasons. The board voted 5-2 to appoint Sanders to the position, with trustees Miles Strunc and Mack Boyd voting in opposition.
