Trustees plan for bequest

The Ennis Independent School District Board of Trustees appointed outgoing member Miles Strunc to head up a committee aimed at overseeing a large bequest from an anonymous donor to fund scholarships.

Board President Bramlet Beard announced the gift at Tuesday’s regular school board meeting, and the formation of a public body to oversee the money in question.
