UIL district appeal falls flat

Ennis ISD Superintendent John Chapman said Friday the district will not be granted an appeal of its realignment into UIL District 16-5A, and will compete against teams in East Texas.

The new alignments released Monday place Ennis in District 16-5A with Corsicana, Jacksonville, Lindale, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Tyler John Tyler and Whitehouse.
