United Way hits $300K

The Greater Ennis United Way can boast this year — its fundraising campaign hit the $300,000 mark.
With a final donation from Ennis Regional Medical Center this week, campaign chair Jenny Vidrine reports the good news will empower the organization to carry out its mission:
“Feed the hungry, protect the children, put roofs over heads, put shoes on people’s feet,” Vidrine said. “Those kinds of things. It’s all about that — what’s your legacy going to be, you know?”
