VFW post announces luncheon

The post has served food on Sept. 11 to area police and firefighters for the past 10 years. VFW Post 7106 will host its 11th annual 9/11 Luncheon for local law enforcement, firefighters and paramedics from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11. All local city police and volunteer fire departments are invited to attend.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ladies Auxiliary Jack Lummus Post 7106 have announced the continuation of their annual 9/11 luncheon series.

The group invites first responders from the surrounding area to attend the 12th annual event, which will be from noon to 3 p.m. on Sept. 11 at the VFW post, located at 3100 N. I-45 in Ennis.
