Almost 100 volunteers flooded into Ennis High School over the weekend to assist Give A Kid A Chance with packing up bags for the back-to-school event set Saturday. It took 2 1/2 hours to stuff 1,000 backpacks with supplies and necessities, said Director Marty Nelson. He said the more noteworthy part of the event wasn’t it’s efficiency, however.
