A woman accused of robbing the Sally Beauty Supply in March has been indicted by an Ellis County grand jury for the incident, as well as an arson that occurred the week before the robbery.

Veronica Alari, 33, was arrested March 21 after she allegedly entered the store at about 12:30 p.m. with a firearm and demanded cash from the register. After escaping with $72 in cash, the suspect fled the scene as bystanders told police where she’d gone. Within 20 minutes of the robbery, police found and arrested Alari a few blocks away from the store at the corner of Pecan and Brown streets.
