Youngsters get manners lesson

Selected students at Sam Houston Elementary put on their Sunday best a little early on Thursday and put their practiced manners to work.
Houston Principal Linda Southard said the students who participated in the event were chosen from students who reached a certain Accelerated Reading point total.
“We were looking for incentives for our AR program,” Southard said.
