Ethel R. Blazek


 

2200189Ethel Rose (Langley) Blazek, 65, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Thursday, August 22, 2013 after years of battling diabetes and kidney failure. Rose was born on November 8, 1947 to John and Marie (McClain) Langley in Ninaveh, Texas. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School. On July 27, 1968 she married Albert Blazek, Jr. and they made their home in Ennis before moving to Kaufman. They moved back to Ennis in 1991. She worked for North Texas Ice for six years as receptionist, sales and inventory manager. Rose loved God and her family above all. She enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, sewing and crochet. Anytime she was given the chance, you could find her fishing. She is survived by her husband, Albert Blazek, Jr.; sons: Johnny Blazek and his wife, Donna and Charles Blazek and his wife, Deena; five grandchildren: Justin Chance McEnturff, Dalton Blazek, Dakota Blazek, Cheyenne Blazek and Sheridan Blazek; brother, J.W. Langley; sister, Bet Ann Woods; five nieces; seven nephews; two brothers-in-law: Sterling Mundie and Teddy Calvert and sister-in-law, Linda (Blazek) Calvert. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Langley, brother, Roy C. Langley, two sisters, Billie Starr and Martha Tobias along with one sister-in-law, Mary Jane (Blazek) Mundie. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
