Freddy G. McMillon


Freddy G. McMillon, 69, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Sunday, July 21, 2013. Freddy was born in Greenville, Texas on July 7, 1944 to Robert and Odessa (English) McMillon. He grew up in Greenville and attended Greenville Schools. He joined the United States Navy but was unable to serve after it was discovered he was too young to enlist. He worked for more than forty years as a long-haul truck driver. He was a member of the Highway Riders Ellis County Chapter and the Alma Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed camping and riding motorcycles. He is survived by two sons: Robert McMillon and Cody McMillon both of Ennis; three daughters: Angie Baldridge of Tyler, Patsy and her husband Jose Carmona of Little Elm and Melissa McMillon of Ennis; five grandchildren: three great-grandchildren and two sisters. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. www.jekeevermortuary.com
