James “Bobby” Branson


2356945James “Bobby” Branson, 19, passed away in Palmer, Texas on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Bobby was born in Ennis, Texas on December 24, 1993 to James L. and Sarah (Cheshire) Branson. He grew up in Palmer and graduated from Palmer High School in 2013. He worked for the City of Palmer as a Firefighter. He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Palmer. He loved playing and watching football, horseback riding and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his father, James L. Branson of Palmer; his mother, Sarah Cheshire of Louisiana; brother, Seth McElhaney of Waxahachie; sisters: Whitney Branson of Mabank and Ashleigh Branson of Ennis; grandparent, Annie Fern Higdon of Palmer along with numerous uncles, aunts and cousins including Loyd and Denise Higdon of Palmer. Visitation will be on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Palmer. A Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Reggie Stewart officiating. Pallbearers will be Loyd Higdon Jr., Brad Rhodes, James Treadaway, Daniel Nobles, Dustin Kemp, Cody Rhodes, John Treadaway and Marcus Harris. Interment will follow in Palmer Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. www.jekeevermortuary.com
