Janie Marie Moseley-Harrelson

2103536Janie Marie Moseley-Harrelson, 65, surrounded by her family, gave up her brave fight with cancer, and won her victory in Jesus, Wednesday evening, May 29, 2013. Janie was born on March 22, 1948, Waxahachie, Ellis County, Texas to the late James Thomas Moseley and Virgie Marie Hubbbard. She loved her family, and she enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, fishing, playing pinochle and her various and sundry cats, dogs, birds, and ferrets. It is true that she never met an animal that she didn’t like. She was beautiful, charming, and she never met a stranger. She was married to Richard O. Harrelson. They loved each other very much and were side by side to the very end at their home. She loved her time with her sister Joyce and husband Gary at their home in Rice. During the last three years she spent much of her time with her daughter Kathleen and son-in-law Steve McCully in Fort Worth, and shared a very special relationship with them. She was baptized at and was a member of the Southside Church of Christ where she found particular comfort and joy in her last years. She was preceded in death by her son, Sean Allen Simpson, and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Richard Odell Harrelson; her children, Kathleen and Steve McCully, Eddie and Jenny Martin, and Jesse Ferry; eight grandchildren: Garrick, A.J., Chase, Zachary, Jaymee, Tristan, Brandy and Chloe; sisters and brother, Judy and Bill McNair, Joni Moseley, Joyce and Gary Hutchins, and James Allen Moseley; and many other family and friends. She is greatly loved and will be deeply missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Southside Church of Christ, 2101 Hemphill Street, Fort Worth, Texas. www.jekeevermortuary.com
