Linda W. Arthur


Linda W. Arthur, 71, passed away in Ennis on June, 15, 2012. Linda was born on May 22, 1941 in Madera, California to Ernie D. and Bonnie (Countryman) Walling. She grew up in California and graduated high school in 1959. In 1977 she married Albert Arthur and they originally lived in Dallas. They moved to Ennis in the 1990. She worked for AT&T for over 20 years and retired from Lucent Technologies. She was a member of the Garrett City Council. She was an avid fisherwoman, she enjoyed crochet, sewing and was a very creative photographer. She enjoyed doing crafts and was the “Queen” of Christmas cookies and she was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan. She is survived by her husband, Albert Arthur: one son Jason Curry of Dallas; two step-sons: Kelly Arthur and his wife, Sally of Italy and Vince Arthur of Bristol; step-daughter, Casey and her husband, Rodney Caldwell of Palmer; thirteen grandchildren: one great-grandchild: one brother, Carl Croci of California and one sister Judy and her husband, Johnny Tabor of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at a later date. www.jekeevermortuary.com
