Louise Haba, age 100, passed away on October 9, 2012 at the Ennis Care Center. She was born May 25, 1912 in Prague, Oklahoma to Mike and Marie Paprska. In 1930, she married Louis Haba at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague, Oklahoma. Then they made their home in Ennis. Louise was a life long member of St. John Catholic Church. She retired from Donnvan Galvani in 1977.
She is survived by four daughters and two sons; Martha Ritchey, Raymond Haba and wife Pat, Agnes Haba, Mary Pecot and husband Bob, Theresa Struffert, Wesley Haba and wife Patsy; one sister, Sophie Frost of California; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis of 52 years, son Daniel N. Haba; two sons-in-law, Hubert Ritchey, Ron Struffert; granddaughter Karen Haba; two brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. with a Rosary at 7 P.M. on Thursday, October, 11, 2012 at the Boze-Mitchell-Mckibbin Funeral home in Ennis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, October 12, 2012 at St. John Catholic Church with Father John Dick as Celebrant.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ennis.
