Manuel DeLaFuente


obitManuel DeLaFuente, 49, was born July 4, 1963 was called to the Lords home on June 9, 2013. Manuel attended Ennis High School. Manuel was joined in matrimony to Patricia Peralta on June 16, 2012 and they made their home in Mesquite, Texas. Manuel was a friend of friend, with a heart of gold for everyone. His love was unconditionally and without judgement. Manuel worked for DeLaFuente Masonary Company for many years. He also worked as a maintenance man for Allredhurst Apartments in Mesquite. Manuel was proceeded in death by a brother Juan DeLaFuente in 2009. He is survived by his spouse, Patricia Peralta; Father, Jose Maria DeLaFuente Sr. and Martha DeLaFuente of Dallas, Tx.; mother, San Juana Montemayor Cavazos of Ennis, Tx.; three children, Yolanda Rojas, Betty Lou Esquievel, Dominic Martinez “DeLaFuente;” 10 grandchildren, Ryan A. Hinojosa, Rodrick M. Hinojosa, Yasmin M. Hinojosa, Leya E. Hinojosa, London J. Johnson of Ennis, Tx., Mia R. Savala, Santiago J. Nava, Margarita M. Nava, Marissa N. Nava and Eric Flores of Duncanville, Tx.; five brothers, Cruz Gonzales, Jose Maria DeLaFuente Jr of Ennis, Isreal DeLaFuente of Mesquite, Guadalupe Jaime Jr. of Sachse, Texas and Jesus DeLaFuente of Houston; three sisters, Ruth Norris and her husband Bobby of Galveston, Sarah Reyes and her husband Jose Luis of Ennis and Mary Estrada and her husband Manuel of Ennis; and Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews who loved him a lot. Viewing will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Eternal Rest Funeral Home in Ennis, 215 N. Dallas. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 14, 2013 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at CrossPoint in Ennis, 301 N. Dallas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at CrossPoint in Ennis, 301 N. Dallas in Ennis, Tx. Burial will be held at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis. Followed by Celebration for Manuel DeLaFuente at the VFW Post, 3100 I-45 in Ennis, Tx.
