Margaret Murdock Brooks McNeil
Margaret Murdock Brooks McNeil, born November 12, 1913, the second child to James Button Murdock and Lettitia Blakey Murdoch followed her parents and her brother James Blakey Murdoch to hr peace and Glory on September 11, 2012, after 98 years, 9 moths of love, work and responsibility. She was a successful mother, business woman, friend and volunteer at Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital. She is survived by: two children- Joan and Joe B. Brooks,, one niece- Charlene Murdoch Ringler, two cousins- Blakey Jean Henderson and Phyllis Todd Nelson. Visitation was held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis located at 408 N. Dallas Street. Graveside services followed at 3 p.m. in Myrtle Cemetery of Ennis under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. Contributions may be made to the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, P.O.
