Patricia Newsome Lipscomb
Patricia Newsom Lipscomb passed away Sept. 21, 2012.
She was born in Corsicana, TX on July 16, 1929 and raised in Kerens, Texas. Pat graduated from Baylor University with a Masters Degree in teaching in 1949. She touched many, many lives while enjoying her teaching career at Ennis ISD.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Addie McConnico Newsom, father Horace J. Newsom, husband Norris I. Lipscomb Jr., and son James Norris Lipscomb.
Pat is survived by sons Lance and wife Rita, Kevin, Rel and wife Lisa Lipscomb, six grandchildren, Alisia Draper, Lance Hunt, Amanda Zabojnik, Lindsay Lipscomb, Logan and Landon Lipscomb; six great-grandchildren, Destin and Dax Lott, Fayth and Ella Hunt, and Mason and Owen Zabojnik.
The family would like to thank the employees at IOOF Rehabilitation, Family 1st Hospice, and Ennis Regional Hospital for their help and diligence in caring for our mother these last few months. There will be a private family graveside memorial held in Kerens, Texas.
