Ruby Marie Budai



Ruby Marie Budai, 81, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012 in Ennis, Texas.
Ruby was born in La Place, Lousiana, to John and Martha (Andry) St. Martin on September 26, 1930. She grew up in La Place and attended school there. On March 7, 1947 she married Albert Budai and they made their home originally in Conroe, Texas, in 1955 they moved to Ennis, Texas.
She was the co-owner of Budai Oil Company until she retired in 2010. She enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved to watch the Dallas Cowboy’s and the Texas Ranger’s dressed in the appropriate attire.
She is survived by two sons: Clayton Budai and his wife, Pat of Ennis, Steve Budai of Red Oak; four daughters: Trudy and her husband, John Rankin of Ennis, Linda Lott of Ennis, Debbie and her husband, Gary Monroe of Waxahachie and Karen Budai of Ennis; twelve grandchildren: David Wolfe, Aaron Wolfe, Tracey Langley, Russell Caldwell, Chad Caldwell, Max Bowling, Jakee Monroe, Megan Budai, Corby Callaway, Carmony Callaway, David Rankin and Leah Rankin; ten great-grandchildren: one great-great-grandchild and one sister Miriam Marks of La Place, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert Budai on December 16, 2004, two brothers John and Moe St Martin and one sister Audrey Hymel.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012 until service time. A Celebration of her life will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012 in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Larry Porch and Rev. Edwin Lipsey officiating. Entombment will follow at the St. Joseph Mausoleum under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

    My sincere condolences to you and your family…I have very fond memories of your mother (our senior prom), we laughed so much!! She will be missed… RIP Mrs Budai.
