William (Billy) S. Whitlock
William (Billy) S. Whitlock, 49, passed away in Fort Worth on Sunday, September 23, 2012.
Billy was born in Ennis, Texas on December 7, 1962 to William Carter and Kay (Jones) Whitlock. He grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Western Hills High School in 1981. He received his music degree from East Texas State University. After college he lived in Trophy Club.
He worked for Whitlock Claim Services for twenty years and after that was self employed as an insurance adjuster.
He loved music of all kinds and played several different instruments. He enjoyed cooking and traveling.
He is survived by daughter, Sarah Kay Whitlock of Trophy Club; his father: William C. Whitlock of Benbrook and one sister, Christi and her husband Kevin Freelove of Fort Worth.
He is preceded in death by his mother Kay Whitlock on May 6, 2011.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 12:30 until service time in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his life will take place on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. with David Winn officiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
