A game is never quite over until the last out is recorded, no matter how the situation may seem.
In Monday night’s TTAS midget tournament opener for both teams, the Gaf-Elk Kaboom led the Italy Pink Panthers 23-13 with two outs in the last inning. Between a combination of GE errors and key Italy hits, the Panthers came up with an unbelievable comeback to win a 24-23 shootout.

Italy finished with more hits (14-8) and fewer errors (0-6). While her team was clearly better than Italy until the bottom of the fourth, the final result was obviously tough for GE coach Cortney Young to witness.
