Bragg Appliance stages huge rally in thriller

It’s hard to keep a good little league team down.
Just one out from a loss on Tuesday, Bragg Appliance reeled off seven huge runs to tie the score at 10-10 against Italy Burnt Orange. BA maintained the momentum in the seventh inning for a wild-and-crazy 13-12 victory to stay unbeaten in the TTAB senior midget district tournament.

“I’ve coached so many years in little league, but this was definitely in the top two or three games I’ve ever been a part of,” said coach Kelly Bragg. “We kind of fell apart in that sixth inning (to allow five runs) and their coach decided to pull their ace pitcher, which came back to bite him. We didn’t give up and sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. It was a really fun game.”
