The Ennis Lions (6-11-2, 1-4) suffered their most devastating defeat Friday against the Mansfield Summit Jaguars (14-8, 4-1) with a 9-1 loss.
“It’s probably the best team we’ve played all year, especially hitting-wise. They can hit one through nine in their lineup,” Lion center fielder Weston Quick said. “They came out and did their job.”
