Pitching is the name of the game in softball, and that held true on Monday night.
Despite some early adversity, the Blackland Building Supply Lady Rangers (BBS) of the high school eligible division were able to score consistently to best the Kwik Kar Stingers (KK) of the junior division by a 14-7 margin.
With the win, BBS moved to 2-0 and KK is now 1-1. While BBS finished with fewer hits (1-3) and more errors (5-3), pitcher Jessica Nichols was the difference maker for her team to win regardless.
