After meeting last year in the senior midget district championship game, Bragg’s Appliance (BA) and Haden Electric (HE) were competing once again on Tuesday night.

BA (3-0) leaned on strong pitching and defense to leave no doubt in an 11-1 win over HE (2-1). BA finished with more hits (7-3) and fewer errors (1-7). The circumstances for one of the teams have changed a bit since 2010.

“(HE) lost a lot of players from last year and I have nearly my whole team back,” said BA coach Kelly Bragg. “We’re familiar with what we’re doing and (Tuesday) we had a chance to win because we threw strikes and played defense.”
