The Ennis Lady Lions opened district play win a strong win against Lancaster on Tuesday night, beating the Tigers 56-40.
Coach David Kilpatrick said the girls executed their game plan perfectly by “taking care of the basketball,” giving up few points on the press and limiting Lancaster to one shot per possession.
