Lions roll over Panthers

While the JV was away, the Freshman Lions delivered the goods on their home turf Thursday night.

Ennis (1-1) defeated the 5A Keller Fossil-Ridge Panthers 26-12, and Keller didn’t even get on the scoreboard until the fourth quarter.

The Lions’ opening drive saw quarterback Marcus Daggs score on a 10-yard run (6-0, conversion failed). In the second quarter, Daggs found Cori Jones for a 45-yard touchdown through the air (12-0, conversion failed).
