There are days where I’m just straight up befuddled by Josh Hamilton. He starts out this season roaring out of the starting gate for the Texas Rangers, breaking records and generally making Albert Pujols look foolish.
As the season wore on, Hamilton started regressing — quickly. The stats bear that out as much, as does he terrible demeanor at the plate and his helmet-tossing antics during the series with the White Sox. Things came to a head after his performance one night brought boos from the crowd at the Ballpark in Arlington.
