The Ennis Lions (4-15, 0-3) and Red Oak Hawks (13-6, 1-2) went into Friday’s game winless in district play. After taking a two-week break for the holidays, the Hawks came back to take their first district win with a 72-56 victory over Ennis.
“They just beat us in all aspects of it,” Lion head coach Jerry Mason said. “They got rebounds on us. They posted us up. We turned the ball over a lot and they got easy buckets.”
