The rivalry between the Ennis Lions (5-18, 1-6) and Waxahachie Indians (2-22, 0-7) always makes for an exciting game and Friday was no exception. Both teams went into Friday’s game winless in district and were determined to break their losing streaks.

Fans on both sides of the court went for an emotional rollercoaster ride as the teams traded the lead throughout all four regular quarters. Lion fans were prepared for a victory until the Indians made two free throws with 13 seconds remaining and another free throw with three seconds left. The three points were enough to keep the Indians alive and send the game into overtime.
