Stingers battle into junior title game

Tye Chandler, spo...@ennisdailynews.com

With a trip to the junior division championship game on the line Thursday night, the Kwik Kar Stingers were determined to hang around another evening.

The Stingers scored a lot early and late for a 10-8 victory over the Keever Cheetahs, which finished the city tourney in third place. In large part due to the fact that both pitching staffs struggled with walks, each team finished with just one hit and the Cheetahs committed more errors (2-1).
