The Ennis Lions (5-7-2, 0-1) split the first day of the Ennis Baseball Booster Club Classic tournament Thursday with an 8-0 win over Bryan Adams and a narrow 3-2 loss to Mansfield.
“Last night we played our hearts out and it didn’t come out our way,” Lion designated hitter Nate Allen said about the game against Mansfield.
