2 dead, 1 wounded in Houston apartment shooting
HOUSTON (AP) — Two people are dead and a third has been wounded in a shooting at a Houston apartment complex.
Police say they’re still trying to figure out what exactly happened early Tuesday evening. What’s known is two men approached a couple returning home with their 8-month child in the backseat of their SUV and shots rang out.
Police say it’s uncertain how many people were shooting.
The father in the driver’s seat of the SUV was killed. So was one of the men who confronted him. The wounded victim is in a hospital after undergoing surgery.
Police say the woman and child in the vehicle escaped injury.
Names of the victims have not been immediately released and police aren’t saying if they’re looking for others who may be involved.
