Gas prices drop 6 cents across Texas

HOUSTON (AP) — Retail gasoline prices across Texas have dropped 6 cents this week.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the average price at the pump was $3.38 per gallon. The national average also dipped 6 cents, settling at $3.56 per gallon.

The association says Amarillo has the most expensive gasoline in Texas, at $3.47 per gallon. Fort Worth has the least expensive gasoline, at $3.30 a gallon.

Crude oil prices slipped this week. The Federal Reserve has said indicators point to continued weakness in the job market.
