Ennis Historical Society plans two holiday events

The Ennis Historical Society will host two events during the Christmas holidays. The group’s Christmas Party is set at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at Wildflower Café. It is open to all, and more information is available at www.ennishistoricalsociety.org. Guests can bring children, and plans including caroling outside, weather permitting. The organization will also host a trip to the Dallas Heritage Festival on Dec. 8. Guests are encouraged to come with their children and grandchildren. Those who RSVP by Dec. 7 will have free passes pre-arranged. Go to www.ennishistoricalsociety.org to RSVP. The festival itself is home to the largest and finest collection of 19th Century pioneer and Victorian homes and commercial buildings in Texas.
