Master Gardeners training classes
Ellis County Master Gardeners has extended the application deadline for their 2012 training class to Sept. 11.
The training classes are held in Waxahachie each Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout the month of October. Class attendance is mandatory. Following the classes, 75 hours of community service are required to become a certified master gardener. Cost of classes is $200.
