Hejny, Cummings to wed

Rick Hejny and Sherry Haskovec, of Ennis, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kari Lynn Hejny, of Ennis, to Peter Noel Cummings, of Ennis. Kari’s grandparents are Jerry and Georgia Hejny, of Ennis. Kari graduated from Ennis High School in 2002 and attended The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, Calif. She is employed as a belt designer at Dezine News Accessories in Dallas. Peter is the son of Pat and Barbara Cummings, of Ennis. Grandparents include Lena Musso, of Raton, N.M., and Bennye Cummings of Green River, Wyoming. He is a 2001 graduate of Ennis High School and attended the University of Memphis. He is employed as a tower technician at MTSI. The couple will wed Oct. 22.
