Smith, Johnson to wed

Chad Johnson and Lacy Smith

George and Clarissa Smith, of Ennis, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Lacy Smith to Chad Johnson, of Ennis.

Lacy’s maternal grandparents are Ted and Rose Wagner, of Ennis, and the late Sylvia Wagner. Paternal grandparents are the late Dan Smith and Michiko Smith, of Mesquite, and the late Beth Fowler, of Waco.

Lacy is a 2004 graduate of Ennis High School and 2009 graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. She is employed as a legal clerk at the Bryan Cave Law firm.

Chad Johnson is the son of Steve and Sandra Johnson, of Ennis, his maternal grandparents are Toni Salik Barto and the late Daniel Barto. His paternal grandparents are Alton and Duane Mullican Johnson.

Chad is a 2003 graduate of Ennis High School  and a 2008 graduate of the University of Texas in Arlington. He is the owner of Johnson Fabrications and a partner with Johnson Crane Rental.
