Thomas, Young marry
Mr. and Mrs. William Nelson Young
Mayor and Mrs. Russell Thomas are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Anna Elizabeth, to William Nelson Young, of Lubbock.
Will is the son of Ms. Kathy Young, of Bartlett. Maternal grandparents are Maggie Thomas, of Ennis, and the late Earl Thomas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Baw, of Harlingen. Paternal grandparents are the late Billie and Lenora Wilson, of Bryan.
Anna and Will were united in marriage on Dec. 17, 2010, in Lubbock. Later the same day, Anna was awarded her masters of education degree in higher education administration with a 4.0 GPA at Texas Tech University. She has been accepted into the doctoral program at Texas Tech.
Will is currently completing a master’s degree in family and marriage counseling at Texas Tech. They are both employed at Texas Tech University.
The couple was recently honored with a reception celebrating their marriage. Will, Anna, and daughter Millie are at home in Lubbock.
