Ann Marie Vest and Edward Joseph Herbst IV

Ann Marie Vest and Edward Joseph Herbst IV, were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 26, 2011, at the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A reception followed at La Posada de Santa Fe, where guests enjoyed an evening of dinner and dancing. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a cocktail party for all the wedding guests at The Inn and Spa at Loretta.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Wayne Vest of Fort Worth. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Joseph Herbst III of Palmer, Texas. Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an exquisite gown fashioned by New York designer Judd Waddell. The ivory silk twill gown featured a beautiful strapless modified sweetheart neckline adorned with a band of hand embroidered French Alencon lace. The dropped waist of the gown is detailed with the same timeless lace of the neckline. The modern fit and flare skirt is styled with a repeat element of the couture gown. The silhouette falls to slip length and flows into a classic chapel length train. The bride’s chapel length Alencon lace veil is a family heirloom, and worn by her mother and aunt. Entwined with ribbon into the bride’s bouquet was the groom’s mother’s wedding ring.

Susan LaRoche Vest, mother of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Caroline Baum, Katherine Bryant, Cody Callahan, Haley Herbst, Maria Herbst, Martha Kell McKinley and Pamela Sanders. The house party included Elizabeth Dela Jacobsen, Jennifer Euwer, Brooks Hanna, Kelly Ann McColm and Laura Norris. Christopher Dillard served as best man.

Groomsmen included Christopher Armstrong, Jason Hairston, Paul Muller, Matthew Nordgren, Hunter Vest, and Bryan Winkler. Ushers included Richard Mendez and Phillip Mui.

The bride is a graduate of Texas State University and is employed at Lockheed Martin Aeronautic Company. The groom is a graduate of Texas Tech University and is employed at Dale Property Services, LLC.

Following a honeymoon in Santa Barbara and Maui, the couple is residing in Fort Worth.
