County loosens reins to aid sale

An Avalon Independent School District trustee has been indicted by an Ellis County grand jury on child sex charges.

Flipped out on U.S. 287

A single-car crash on eastbound U.S. 287 Tuesday morning resulted in an overturned SUV but no injuries, according to Ennis police officer Jason McCurdy.
