Bright, clear skies helped the Ennis Bluebonnet Trails festival bring a crowd to downtown Ennis on Saturday and Sunday.

Couple pulled from crashed sedan

Two people were airlifted to Baylor Dallas after a crash Monday morning. Officer Jeff Bates of the Ennis Police Department said an elderly couple pulled up to the traffic light in a four-door sedan at the corner of West Ennis Avenue and Jeter Drive, when they allegedly ran a red light.
