The top American League and National League teams in the Junior Midget League played the first of a best-of-three game city championship series Monday night. Undefeated Bubba’s Bar-B-Q (15-0) put the American League at a one game advantage after a 20-3 victory over Heli-Hunters (12-3).

Five suspects jailed in the April slaying of 21-year-old Henry Villatoro of Irving have been indicted for murder.
