1929 Ellis County Fair

At the 1929 Ellis County Fair a booth showcasing old textiles and wearing apparel drew a great deal of interest. Along with a blue and white linen bedspread made in 1771 and shown by Elvira Jones, of Ennis, a 70 year old green net bonnet was displayed by Mrs. Lawrence Haines, also of Ennis.
