Main Street Midway carnival returns Family-friendly event back by popular demand, April 17-21


Marking three consecutive years in Ennis, the Main Street Midway returns this week to the heart of town to create joy to the kid in everyone. Following back-to-back trips to downtown, the City is once again hooking up with Talley Amusements, who are based in Fort Worth, for five days of family-friendly fun. Set for April 17-21, the timing for the carnival ensues the annual Bluebonnet Festival, which ended Sunday. “The carnival is back by popular demand,” said Becky McCarty, the Main Street Manager in Ennis. “We didn’t have one for over twenty years, and now that it’s back, people are loving it. Everybody loves the fun and the atmosphere of a carnival.” McCarty said there will be about 25 rides, which arrived on Monday for set-up and safety installation.
