The Write Way

A member of the Ennis Writers’ Club was happy to have her poems published for the first time in 1947. Mrs. Fred L. Wilson, of 205 E. Baylor St., received a check for two poems accepted for publication in a children’s publication in Pennsylvania. The poems, “God Give Us Boys” and “Good Seeds,” of a religious nature, were among the first manuscripts the author had ever submitted to an editor.
